BALKUMARI, LALITPUR, October 22, 2024 – The Kathmandu University School of Arts (KUSOA) and Bhojpur Municipality formalized their partnership by signing a Letter of Agreement (LOA) as part of the “Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools: Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be” (CVEC Project). The ceremony took place at the BOT Hall, Kathmandu University School of Management in Lalitpur, and was attended by the Mayor of Bhojpur Municipality and senior representatives of KUSOA.
This agreement aims to foster collaboration between the municipality and KUSOA, focusing on creating inclusive and equitable educational environments in community schools across Bhojpur. The LOA strengthens the shared commitment to the goals of the CVEC project, emphasizing gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) through a child-centered approach.
The partnership is set to drive meaningful change, ensuring that the values and aspirations of children are placed at the forefront of educational development efforts. Both institutions are committed to continuing their joint efforts to empower schools and communities, helping build a more inclusive environment.
