BHOJPUR, NEPAL, MAY 27, 2024 – The “Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools, Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be” project recently convened a workshop aimed at the focal persons responsible for Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) across 13 community schools in Bhojpur Municipality. This workshop was designed to foster a deeper understanding of GESI dynamics within these educational institutions and the broader Bhojpur community. During the workshop, GESI focal persons shared valuable insights regarding the current curriculum and the status of gender equality and social inclusion within their respective communities. This workshop engaged in exploring answers to how GESI issues could be potentially addressed at the grassroots level i.e within the public school environment and the respective communities within which it is located.
