In a significant step towards fostering inclusivity and promoting gender equality in the education system, public school teachers participated in a two-day capacity building training on August 27th and 28th, 2023 at Hotel Tarai Inn, Chapur. There were altogether 25 participants, among which 19 were female and 6were male. The training aimed to sensitize educators on mainstreaming GESI principles throughout all aspects of the school environment.
In the training, the teachers were equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to create an inclusive educational environment where all students, regardless of their gender, socio-economic background, or abilities, can thrive.
