Assistant Professor of Development at Kathmandu University’s School of Arts (KUSOA) and the Principal Investigator of the research project, “Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools, Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be”. He served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Education of Kathmandu University. He earned his Ph.D. and Masters in Development Studies from the Department of Development Studies at Kathmandu University. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune, India. His areas of academic interest are the capability approach, education for development, migration studies, poverty measurement, governance, and citizenship studies.
Anushka earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, USA, and an MBA from the South Asian Institute of Management, under Pokhara University. She is currently the Project Coordinator of a research initiative titled "Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools, Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be", under the Kathmandu University School of Arts.
Saurav has a Masters in Development Studies from Kathmandu University School of Arts. He earned his undergraduate degree in Development Studies from National College, Kathmandu University. He currently works as a Community Mobilizer of the project titled “Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools, Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be” under LIKE Lab, Kathmandu University School of Arts.
Ms. Mijala Chitrakar is a PhD student working with passion and expertise on gender justice and childhood studies with particular focus on intersectionality and its impact on various communities. Ms. Chitrakar leverages her skills in research, communication, and social media management. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from the Kathmandu University School of Arts.
Isha earned her Bachelor's degree in Community Development from the School of Arts at Kathmandu University. She is now pursuing a Master's in Development Studies from the same institution and works as a Research Fellow on the project titled “Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools, Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be”.
Utkrishta is a fourth-year undergraduate student of Community Development at the Kathmandu University School of Arts (KUSOA). With nearly three years of experience working in the education sector, she is currently engaged as a Research Fellow at LIKE Lab, contributing to the research initiative titled "Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools, Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be”.
Sandeep is a third-year undergraduate student of Media Studies at the Kathmandu University School of Arts (KUSOA). He is currently engaged as a Research Intern at LIKE Lab, contributing to the research initiative titled "Promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion in Schools, Building on What Children Value and Aspire to Do and Be”.
Sanjita is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Education at Bhojpur Multiple Campus and is currently a Research Intern at LIKE Lab, Kathmandu University School of Arts.
Barsha is a final-year student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Community Development at Kathmandu University School of Arts and is currently a Research Intern at LIKE Lab, Kathmandu University School of Arts.
